We are interested in finding out what other Clubs are doing for DFK. Our Club is hosting a kickball game with our members and their parents. Please let us know.
Our organization actually partners with a local mini golf, gameroom and go cart ride, palace that is located in our city. We also get the newspaper and local radio involved. Parents, Members and all relatives are invited to participate frre of charge and we supply pizz, chips and drinks that were donated to feed them.
We host an onsite event that changes a little bit each year. One thing that remains the same are the inflatable bounce houses that we get from a local vendor. Last year, for inflatables, we had a pirate ship, a Monsters Inc tent, and for the teens, a bouncing jousting ring. We also get a dunk tank from the local party store and invite various community volunteers to share a talent or run an activity (i.e. magic tricks, karaoke, carnival games, etc.). McDonald's and Circle K are sponsors, which helps offset the cost. The food, drinks, and entertainment are all free of charge to our members, school age children, and anyone who takes care of school age children (parents/guardians and their extended family). It's a blast!
