What type of Day for Kids event are you planning this year?

More than 1,000 Day for Kids events were held across the country and on U.S. military bases overseas. Nearly a half-million kids and adults participated in street festivals, concerts, picnics, carnivals and other celebrations.

We are expecting an even larger event this year. Tell us what you are planning in 2009.

We are having a community wide event at the park, jump houses, water slide, vendors, mascots, games, petting zoo, and many other activities. There will be face painting, fingerprinting, entertainment by local groups. Everything is free to the public. Free games, give aways, food plus other things.

Last year we had approximately 600+ people and we are expecting much more people.
