What are the final steps to prepare for your Day for Kids?

I would advise all event planners to make sure all volunteers and staff know his or her role. It is important that the event is well organized and everyone knows his or her responsibilities.

DFK 2009 an overwhelming success!

This year, our club decided to do our Day for Kids celebration as part of the MCAS Miramar Air Show in order to increase our participation and outreach to our families. We ended up serving more than 2500 youth and teens over the 3 day period! Our youth, teens, and families provided us with amazing feedback and highly encouraged that we do it again next year. Our Youth & Teen Center/ Club staff and volunteers were wondeful! It was a great event!
